Starts Saturday May 6 at 9:30 am, and goes until you are tuckered out! Potluck lunch break midday as well.
Ben, Phil and the gang at White Pine Community Farm will be hosting the next Radical Mycology event Sat and Sun, May 6 & 7, 2017. White Pine Community Farm is a not-for-profit community farm, whose goal is to grow quality foods for low-income communities and those in need; they also have a medicinal herb component and an expanding mushroom growing project. White Pine will be giving a workshop on log inoculation and mushroom growing. There are several options to attend: come for just a Saturday morning session, a Saturday afternoon session, a full day Saturday session or come for the weekend. They have some great camping options and are very close to the Appalachian Trail if you want to make it a weekend get-away. Because this will be a hands-on workshop, the number of participants for any session is roughly ten (to ensure everyone can participate and learn by doing), so please RSVP directly to White Pine Farm (contact info below). With that said, they'd love as much help as they can get!
Address: 295 Duell Hollow Road, Webatuck (Wingdale), N.Y. 12594.
