Workshop by Melody from Pleasant Valley Botanicals and Jeanne from The Key to Balance. This hands-on workshop is designed for participants to learn how to make their own medicinal herb tincture from fresh herbs. The workshop will cover basic information about a variety of herbs and how to make an alcohol-based medicinal herb tincture. Herbs will be freshly harvested for class, so while no specific herbs can be guaranteed, participants will be able to choose from a variety of herbs such as Holy Basil, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Milky Oats, California Poppy, Catnip and Motherwort. Each participant will leave with new knowledge and their very own custom made four ounce tincture which, once strained, would be valued at @ $25.
Pre-registration is required! Space is limited! Must be 21 years of age or older.
Cost: $30 per attendee. $5 discount to any of current or past Pleasant Valley Botanical CSA members.
